ICT 250: Pin Pad
If the connection between the PIN pad and the terminal fails, an error message of ‘PIN pad failure’ will be displayed on the terminal.
Check all the connections between the terminal and PIN pad and, if they are ok, press ‘Enter’.
The PIN pad will attempt to restore the connection to the terminal. If it is restored successfully, the terminal will return to the ‘Ready’ screen. If the connection is not restored successfully an error message of ‘PIN pad failure’ will be displayed again.
